I am currently reading In Country by Bobbie Ann Mason. Currently im on page 37. So far that has happened is that Sam Hughes and his family are taking a road trip to Washington D.C. I like this book because it has some humor in it. This author wrote this book because it was her first novel and it was a step up from her short stories she was writing. The theme is mystery because Sam becomes interested in the Vietnam war and he wants to discover so much more about it. The best character I think is Emmet because he is laid back and doesn't really care what you think about him. "Astronauts have been to the moon". This is important because this quote might come in handy later on in the book.
