Call Of The Wild Brittany Blog Post #1
I am reading Call of the Wild by Jack London. I am in chapter 4 of 7. What has happened in my book is very like hidden with the text and doesn't tell me straight forward. Now they have went in the ice and the dogs were frozen and the sled drivers were making the dogs run around the campfire to keep warm and un thaw. I think this book is overly dramatic in some parts and very interesting in others. I think it is a good book and it should be a even better book when i finish it. I think that the author wrote this book because maybe he had gone through something like this? I think his motivation was letting the whole world know that going on a dogsled race or just doing it for fun is very difficult and life risking. The theme is the wild and about nature and how the world isn't just some perfect happy place. I think the big idea was how nothing in life is easy and you have to work through its bumps and smooth them out. The best character in my opinion is Buck. He hasn't really changed although he is just very coping with whatever happens, and cares about his dogs a lot! The only questions i have about my book is why he wanted to do this? How he could have managed to go through all of this?
